OVERVIEW

Ladakh (meaning “land of high mountain passes”) is a mountainous region in North India. Leh, the main city is situated at 3500 m above the sea level nestled in the great Himalayan, Karakoram, Zansker and Ladakh ranges. Ladakh is known for remote mountain beauty, studded with Monasteries and stupas. Ladakh is often referred as “Little Tibet” due to its geographical proximity and strong to Tibetan culture.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Leh Arrival Pickup & Stay

  • Leh airport pickup & hotel transfer.
  • Welcome drink (tea, coffee or cold drink.
  • Have freshen up and rest for acclimatization.
  • drink water on regular basis.
  • If health of all members is fine then visit of (Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Market)
  • Dinner at hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Leh hotel.
Leh is 3500m above the sea level so acclimatization can get difficult because of high altitude. It is advisable to spend time at the hotel and rest to acclimatize before you set out for your adventures.

Day 02: Leh Local Sightseeing (Sham Valley)

  • Morning breakfast at the hotel.
  • Proceed for Leh Sham Valley sightseeing.
  • Distance will be covered around 70 km.
  • Visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zansker river at Nimmu).
  • Magnetic Hill (The phenomenon that defies gravity).
  • Gurudwara Pather Sahib (Holy place for Sikh’s Religion)
  • Spituk Gompa (Holy Place for Buddhism & Hinduism religion approach)
  • Half of Fame (Army museum).
  • Dinner and stay the hotel in Leh.
Key Highlight: Guest can choose mode if vehicle for today’s plan either cab or bike.

Day 03: Leh to Khardungla Pass – Nubra Valley

  • Moring breakfast at Leh hotel.
  • Proceeds for Nubra Valley.
  • Distance will be coverd 145 km.
  • Enroute visit Khardungla Pass (second highest motorable pass at 17580 ft).
  • Lunch at Khalsar (by own cost).
  • Enroute visit Diskit Monastery.
  • Hundur sand dunes.
  • Enjoy adventure activities by own cost (River Rafting, ATV Ride, Camel Safari, etc.).
  • Dinner and stay at the hotel in Nubra / Diskit village.

Day 04: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso (via Siyok)

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Proceeds for Pangong Tso (A beautiful Lake in Eastern Ladakh 4,225 m).
  • Enroute visit beautiful landscape of Galwan Valley & Siyok Valley.
  • Reach at the Pangong Tso.
  • Checkin to the camps.
  • Spend beautiful time in its bank.
  • Dinner and stay at the camps in Pangong Tso.

Pangong Lake, situated at a height of almost 4,350 m, is the world’s highest saltwater lake. Its water, which seems to be in blue, stand in stark contrast to the arid mountains surrounding it. Extending to almost 160 km, one-third of the Pangong lake lies in India and other two-third in China.

Day 05: Pangong Tso – Leh (via Changla Pass)

  • Breakfast the Pangong Camp.
  • Return back Leh.
  • Enroute visit Changla Pass (3rd highest motorable road 17,688 ft.).
  • Enroute visit Rencho School a Cafe.
  • Checkin at Leh hotel.
  • Evening free for leisure at Leh market.
  • Dinner and stay the the hotel in Leh.

The Changla Pass is a high mountain pass in Ladakh, India. It is claimed to be the second highest motorable road in the world (which is either Merisimik La or Mana pass). Chang La is approached from Leh via Kharu and Sekti village by as asphalt road. The climb is very steep and requires a careful drive. The desent from Chang Las towards Tangtse or Darbuk is again very steep.

Day 06: Departure Day

  • Morning breakfast at the hotel in Leh.
  • Checkout form the hotel.
  • Airport drop by our cab.
  • Leave from the hotel 02 hours before flight time.
