Dharamshala and Dalhousie are two of Himachal Pradesh’s most iconic hill stations, often visited together due to their proximity (about a 4-hour drive apart). While Dharamshala is the spiritual and cultural heart of the Tibetan community, Dalhousie is a nostalgic retreat into India’s colonial past.
Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Chandigarh/ Delhi to Dharamshala
Delhi to Dharamshala via Volvo bus. Overnight Journey. (12-13 hrs)
Day 02: Macleodganj Sightseeing
Early morning reach at the Volvo stand Dharamshala.
Pickup from the volvo stands and drop at the hotel. After freshen up visiting local sightseeing – Macleodganj Market, Dal Lake, Tibetan Monastery, Bhagsu Market, Bhagsunag Temple and Bhagsu waterfall.
Overnight dinner and stay at the hotel in Dharamshala/ Macleodganj.
Day 03: Dharamshala To Dalhousie
After breakfast visiting Dharamshala – War Memorial, HPCA Cricket Stadium. After that proceeds to Dalhousie.
Overnight dinner and stay at hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 04: Khajjiar Sightseeing
After breakfast full day sightseeing of Kalatop – Wildlife Sanctuary and Khajjiar (Switzerland of the Himachal Pradesh).
Day 05: Dalhousie To Chandigarh / Delhi
After breakfast visiting Dalhousie market and drop at the bus stand.
Departure for Chandigarh/Delhi via Volvo Bus.
Tour ends here with sweet memories.
